What Standard and Deluxe include
Standard: the released base game. The developer describes an approximately 20-hour campaign in the launch announcement; that is a publisher estimate, not a completion time measured by this site.
Deluxe: the base game when buying the Deluxe edition, plus the following additions. The Steam upgrade, PS5 listing and Xbox upgrade agree on this schedule:
- La Grande Armee Weapon Skin Pack: available now.
- Weapon Skin Pack 1: scheduled for fall 2026.
- Major Story DLC: scheduled for 2027; no exact date established.
- Weapon Skin Pack 2: scheduled for summer 2027.
- Weapon Skin Pack 3: scheduled for fall 2027.
An upgrade is DLC and requires the base game. Cosmetics and promised story DLC do not establish extra launch-day campaign chapters. Dates describe the current store plan and can change.
Which edition makes sense?
Standard is the lower-cost choice if your goal is the current campaign. Deluxe is a purchase of cosmetic content and a future story expansion whose final length and release date are not established here. Do not pay extra expecting an already playable second campaign.
Already have the base game? Compare the upgrade in the same storefront instead of purchasing another base copy. Using Game Pass? Subscription access and a purchased upgrade are separate entitlements; the upgrade alone does not guarantee base-game access after your subscription ends. See Game Pass access rules and the buying decision guide.
Physical copies, collector editions and preorders
A boxed or collector's edition was not verified in the checked official sources. That is a limit of the evidence, not a declaration that no regional retailer can sell one. There is no verified official physical SKU, box-content list or retailer offer on this page.
The 17 September pricing announcement said purchases would open at launch rather than asking players to preorder. As of 14 October the game has released. Check the official stores for active bundles or sales; old preorder references do not establish a current bonus.
