Valor Mortis patch notes and update history
No post-launch retail patch announcement was found in the official Steam feed checked on 14 October 2026. The documented numbered hotfixes below belong to the June demo.
Retail updates and planned content
Confirmed scope: the official news hub ends with the 13 October launch announcement in the checked developer feed. This establishes no published retail changelog in that snapshot; it does not establish that no files or build IDs have changed.
The 9 October announcement plans New Game+ later in 2026, carrying progression and loot into a harder replay. The launch post plans major story DLC for 2027. Neither post announces that those additions are already available.
June 2026 demo hotfixes

These changes describe the historical demo build. They are not retail patch numbers or proof that a current retail graphics option has the same behavior.
October 2025 pre-alpha changes
Confirmed: the 8 October 2025 playtest announcement lists collision, respawn and Catalyst location fixes, Eternal Guard attack selection, restarting input, stability, out-of-bounds fixes, captions and control bindings.
The 10 October 2025 hotfix addresses corrupted-save crashes, disappearing Fire transmutation, checks against save corruption, tutorial placement and FSR frame generation enabled by default. The old research entry dating this playtest hotfix to 2026 is not used.
Report a current retail problem
Record your platform, installed build, error message and the steps that reproduce the problem. Send the information to Lyrical Games support or the Steam discussion forums identified in the launch post. See current PC requirements and the archived playtest before applying instructions written for old builds.
