Is Valor Mortis coming to Switch 2?
A Valor Mortis Switch 2 edition or port date was not identified in the official sources checked on 14 October 2026. The confirmed native releases are Windows PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What is and is not announced in the checked sources
The developer website and the verified Steam, PlayStation and Xbox listings do not establish a Switch 2 edition, Nintendo preorder or Nintendo release date. The 13 October release applies to the confirmed native platforms, not to an assumed Nintendo port.
| Edition | Verified status |
|---|---|
| Switch 2 | No edition or port date identified |
| Original Switch | No edition identified |
| Windows PC | Released on Steam and Xbox PC |
| PS5 | Released; PS5 Pro Enhanced |
| Xbox Series X|S | Released; Play Anywhere listed |
No evidence of a Nintendo version is not a prediction about future development. An exact official announcement and store offer would be needed before publishing a port date or price.
Why a handheld label is not a Switch port
The Xbox listing includes handheld and cloud categories. Those refer to Microsoft's supported access routes; they do not identify a Nintendo executable or eShop entitlement. Similarly, PC hardware requirements do not prove that a console can or cannot receive a future port.
There is no verified Switch cloud edition here. Do not treat screenshots of a streaming session, a browser-access claim or a fan-made box mockup as confirmation of native Nintendo support.
How to check a new port claim
Start with an announcement from the game developer's official channels, then match it to a Nintendo store listing for the exact title, console and region. A release date, price or preorder should be attached to that offer rather than copied from another platform.
This check did not verify a Nintendo physical SKU, collector edition or retail preorder. The edition guide keeps physical availability unconfirmed instead of linking an unvalidated box offer.
Available alternatives today
For a native copy now, choose Windows Steam, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. The US standard price is $39.99 in the checked stores. Game Pass offers another route for eligible Xbox and PC accounts.
If you want portable access, inspect the actual service and device eligibility. GeForce NOW availability and the Steam Deck badge remain separate evidence gaps; neither should be promoted as a confirmed Nintendo substitute.
