Reported encounter notes
Reported. The demo account describes a sword duel rewarding parries and posture breaks. It does not prove the retail encounter has no additional mechanics.
Preparation
Inference. Finish the defensive sequence before taking a counterattack. Adding a speculative swing makes it harder to identify the timing error that caused a failed attempt.
Check combat commitment and weapon defenses before choosing your kit.
Achievement and limits
Reported. The older trophy guide associates this encounter with True Oath. Steam does not publicly expose all hidden boss conditions.
No exact reward, attack duration, elemental multiplier or phase-health threshold is independently verified here.
